What now lingers

Just when you make it past a point you thought you'd never be able to, you turn around to find another one to tackle right in front of you. We made it through the first Thanksgiving holiday with wonderful friends and family just in time to turn around to find something else painful to tackle. The words "This is the first Christmas tree without you" hangs in the air with the beautiful scent of a Scotch Pine we hurriedly picked, paid $18 for and loaded into our car; got it home and decorated in record time. So it's done for now... no sentimental decorations to be found nor the 12-foot tree of Christmas' past; but we made it... Much love to you, Sam...
