MADISONVILLE, Ky. (12/31/14) — A Madisonville man was arrested on several drug-related charges after the Madisonville Police Department's Narcotics Unit served a warrant at 6:44 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 at a North Harrig Street address.
According to a Madisonville Police Department report, when officers arrived at the home of Terence Cruite, 36, Madisonville, Cruite ran out the rear door and was observed throwing objects onto the roof of the house.
The report said he then ran back into the house and locked the door. After officers entered the home and secured Cruite and two other adults in the residence, officers located two large bags of synthetic drugs and scales.
Further search produced drug paraphernalia, suspected marijuana and additional suspected synthetic drugs. Cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales were also confiscated. Four juveniles were also present in the home.
The Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office led by Sheriff Matt Sanderson.
Cruite was charged with tampering with physical evidence, trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
