SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Three people have accepted plea deals in a synthetic drug case in Sioux Falls.
The Argus Leader reports (http://argusne.ws/1E8yq4V ) that store owner Lamonte Johnson, his wife, Renee, and store manager Ed Vandeuren have reached deals with prosecutors in the past two weeks. The amount of prison time they will serve won't be determined until early next year.
Authorities say Lamonte Johnson, of Luverne, Minnesota, opened three stores in Sioux Falls that sold synthetic drugs. Federal officials eventually raided them and shut them down.
